Job description
Make an impact on young lives by bringing your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to a thriving elementary and PreK caseload in a supportive educational environment. This contract position starts as soon as possible and offers you the opportunity to guide students' communication skills and set them up for long-term academic and social success.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid SLP-CCC certification and state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
Experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary and early childhood populations
Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and therapy delivery
Effective communication abilities for collaborating with staff, parents, and students
Organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload and maintain documentation
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication needs
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to PreK and elementary students
Work closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
Document assessments, progress, and session notes in compliance with state and district guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and school-based initiatives
