Job description
Step into a rewarding role supporting students throughout the full school year as a Speech Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is ideal for both full-time and part-time candidates with a passion for working in educational settings. You'll play an integral part in helping students reach their communication goals while serving a manageable caseload of 20 students. This position is located near East Millinocket, ME, and offers the added flexibility of exploring VOCO (virtual/remote) service options.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
Prior experience in school settings is a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for supporting student growth and success
Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEPs
Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and staff
Provide support either onsite, or explore the VOCO model for remote therapy sessions
