Job description

You'll collaborate with school staff and families while providing services that are both impactful and meaningful.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
A collaborative approach to working with students, educators, and parents
Key Responsibilities: Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities using current tools and practices
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with student needs and goals
Provide direct therapy, intervention, and support to students with a variety of communication disorders
Track progress, document sessions, and prepare reports as required by the district
Consult with teachers to integrate SLP strategies into the classroom environment
Communicate regularly with families to offer guidance and resources for student success
Remain current on best practices and industry standards for school-based SLPs
