Job description
Step into a rewarding full-time contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the remainder of the school year. This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact for students near the Framingham, MA area. Start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year, working alongside a collaborative and dedicated educational team. Candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and prior experience in school settings are highly desired.
Qualifications:
Active and valid SLP license, with CCC required
Demonstrated experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in school environments
Confidence in assessing and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) for diverse student populations
Strong communication and organization skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and therapeutic activities
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support IEP goals
Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation for each student
Regularly attend and contribute to IEP meetings and case conferences
Deliver direct and consultative services, both individually and in small groups
This is a fully on-site, full-time position with a consistent schedule. You'll have the satisfaction of helping students reach their full communication potential in a welcoming environment. Interviews are ongoing, with candidates still being considered through January 23, 2025.
