Job description
Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students during a September-November maternity leave. This full-time opportunity is designed for enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP) or experienced SLPAs eager to make a meaningful contribution to young learners' communication skills.
Step in as a vital team member, delivering essential speech-language services to an elementary caseload of 44-50 students. Collaboration, adaptability, and compassion are key as you help students develop their voices and confidence in a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Hold active state licensure as an SLP-CCC or SLPA
Recent experience working within school settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to build positive rapport with students, families, and educators
Proactive approach to collaborating on IEP teams and supporting diverse student needs
Role Highlights: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 44-50 elementary students
Conduct assessments, develop goals, and monitor student progress as part of the IEP process
Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff
Maintain accurate records and deliver therapy in both group and individual sessions
Serve as an advocate for students' communication development during the maternity leave period
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere
