Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a collaborative educational environment near Greenwood, IN. You'll make a meaningful impact by focusing primarily on evaluations and working closely with another skilled SLP serving students with nonverbal life skills needs. This onsite position offers stability with full-time hours throughout the academic year, from August 3rd, 2026, through June 1st, 2027.
Key qualifications and experience:
Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
Experience in school-based settings preferred
Strong ability to perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations
Skilled in collaborating with education professionals and special education teams
Exceptional communication, organization, and report-writing skills
Your responsibilities will include: Conducting speech-language assessments for a caseload of 50-70 students
Leading primarily evaluation-focused service delivery
Coordinating with another SLP to ensure effective, individualized support for nonverbal students in life skills programs
Communicating progress and recommendations with families, educators, and interdisciplinary staff
Maintaining precise records and complying with state and federal documentation standards
