Job description
Take on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the upcoming academic year. This onsite role offers the chance to support students K-12 in a well-supported and collaborative district, near Hurlock, MD. Work with a dynamic caseload, providing services where they are needed the most and making a measurable impact.
Key Qualifications:
Active Maryland SLP license (required)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
Previous experience in Maryland schools preferred
Strong ability to adapt to varying needs across multiple school sites
Skilled in supporting students from kindergarten through high school, including those in self-contained, moderate to severe classrooms
Responsibilities Include: Delivering speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, including spot fill needs throughout multiple buildings
Addressing a range of needs: from high school students in self-contained, moderate to severe settings to itinerant supports across schools
Collaborating with educators, administrators, and related service providers for student success
Participating in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
Maintaining thorough records and documentation, ensuring compliance with Maryland standards and best practices
Position Details: Onsite only; virtual/remote work is not available for this position
Choice between full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time schedule
Academic year contract from late August 2026 through early June 2027
