Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near Issaquah, WA. This contracted opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting impact by working directly with both middle school students and homebound learners, from ASAP through June 17, 2026. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid and current SLP licensure for Washington State
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience serving secondary (middle or high school) students, including those using AAC devices
Familiarity with servicing homebound students and providing remote or in-person support
Strong collaboration skills and adaptability
Role Highlights: Work four days a week at a middle school, delivering comprehensive speech/language services
Dedicate Mondays to homebound students, focusing on personalized strategies and tools including AAC and eye gaze technologies
Participate in planning and transition alongside the outgoing SLP for a smooth onboarding experience
Manage a structured caseload that allows for meaningful, consistent student interactions (approximately 725 minutes/month)
Hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a later start on Mondays (8:30 am)
Engage in team meetings, family communications, and documentation as part of delivering high-quality service
