Job description
Speech-Language Pathologist
A school district near Joliet, Illinois is seeking full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the school year. The district is open to both monolingual and bilingual (Spanish) candidates who are passionate about helping students develop their communication skills in a collaborative educational setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
Provide direct therapy services and maintain required documentation.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Caseload:
Caseload to be determined.
Opportunities available for both monolingual and bilingual (Spanish) SLPs.
Qualifications:
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
Bilingual Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.
Previous school-based experience preferred.
Education:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
