Job description
Make an immediate impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the remainder of the school year. Work with a dedicated caseload of 38 students in a forward-thinking district embracing a virtual learning environment. This is a unique opportunity for professionals comfortable with technology to provide essential speech and language services remotely; experience in teletherapy or adaptability to virtual platforms is highly valued.
Your assignment will run from an immediate start through June 18, 2020, with the possibility of extending through the summer for compensatory services. Enjoy the flexibility of a contract-based, full-time role at 37.5 hours per week. In this fast-paced scenario, district onboarding is streamlined-fingerprinting and drug screening requirements are being waived-so you can begin making a difference right away.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited program
Current SLP licensure in Washington State (CFYs considered)
Experience in school-based settings and working with elementary-aged students
Strong technical proficiency or a willingness to quickly adapt to online therapy platforms
Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and efficiently
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services remotely to elementary students
Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and caregivers
Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress
Participate in team meetings to ensure student success
Provide clear guidance and support for families in the virtual environment
