Job description
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young students by providing essential speech-language services to a vibrant PreK-2nd grade population. This contract position offers the flexibility to work either full-time or part-time, depending on your availability and preferences. Work collaboratively with educators and families in an engaging school environment, delivering high-quality intervention and support to students.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience working with early childhood and elementary school caseloads preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families
Primary Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in PreK-2nd grade students
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
Deliver direct therapy services through individual and group sessions
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain thorough records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
Participate in IEP meetings and parent/teacher conferences as needed
Provide consultative support and resources to teachers, staff, and families
Stay current with best practices and ongoing professional development
