Job description
Looking to make a real impact in the lives of students? A full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist position is open for the entire school year, supporting K-12 students. This contract role is an incredible opportunity to work within an educational setting, helping students develop critical communication skills while collaborating with passionate educators.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active or eligible Virginia SLP license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged to apply
Experience working in school-based settings preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome
Knowledge of IEP process and ability to write, implement, and monitor service plans
Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students, supporting communication, social, and language development
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless support and monitor student progress
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and school regulations
Participate in IEP meetings, professional development activities, and interdisciplinary team meetings
