Job description
Make an impact by supporting students' communication and learning! Seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services across multiple sites in a supportive school setting near Oakland, CA. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with manageable caseloads designed to foster your professional growth and ensure meaningful connections with students.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid CCC-SLP credential (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence)
California SLP license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to students with a range of speech and language needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary educational teams to support student progress and IEP goals
Maintain thorough and timely documentation for compliance with school and state requirements
Travel between multiple school sites within the district as needed
Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and professional development activities
