Job description
Make a real difference in students' lives by applying your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a contract, part-time role. This opportunity is perfect for a licensed SLP with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who values flexibility and meaningful impact in a school environment. You'll work 15-20 hours per week, supporting learners near Pell City, AL, helping them achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid SLP license for the state of Alabama
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
Prior experience supporting students in school settings preferred
Outstanding communication and documentation abilities
Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in alignment with educational goals
Maintain thorough and accurate progress documentation and reporting
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student's IEP objectives
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and recommendations
Participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
