Job description

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, working full-time with elementary students in a dynamic school environment for the 2026/2027 academic year. This contract role focuses on fostering communication growth in students from kindergarten through fifth grade, offering robust support for a variety of speech and language needs.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

Previous experience or strong interest in a school-based setting

Skilled in assessment, planning, and implementing treatment for articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, social-pragmatic communication, and AAC high-tech device needs

Comfortable managing a diverse caseload covering mild to severe impairments

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for a variety of student needs

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to elementary students

Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services targeting articulation, language, fluency, social-pragmatic, and AAC device usage

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Collaborate proactively with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
