Job description
Support students in their communication development during the 2026/2027 school year as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist on a 35-hour per week contract assignment near Randleman, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced clinicians and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) who are passionate about making a difference in a school-based setting.
Your background should include:
Active or eligible North Carolina SLP license
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or qualification as a CFY
Prior school-based SLP experience is highly valued, but not required
Strong collaboration abilities, including working with teachers, families, and other school professionals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to design and implement effective therapy intervention plans
In this role, you will: Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across grade levels
Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records in accordance with all school and regulatory standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic student support
Offer consultation and support for teachers and families regarding communication strategies
Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere in a school environment
