Job description

Step into a dynamic role providing vital speech-language services to elementary students. This contract opportunity, located near Redding, CA, offers both full-time and part-time options, allowing you to tailor your work schedule to your lifestyle. With an immediate start available or placement for the school year, you'll play a pivotal part in helping children develop their communication abilities in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required

Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)

Experience working with elementary-age children strongly preferred

Familiarity with school-based therapy models and IEP processes

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students' IEPs and goals

Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services within the school setting

Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student progress

Document session notes, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed

Stay up-to-date with best practices and regulatory requirements for school-based SLPs
