Job description
Experience a rewarding contract opportunity working with students in a specialized ASD setting for the school year. If you are a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) passionate about supporting learners and want to make a real difference in a school-based environment, this is an excellent role to consider. Three positions are available to work directly onsite with a dedicated caseload of 40-55 students, helping shape communication and social skills that will last a lifetime.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current, active SLP license
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with students on the autism spectrum
Comfortable with direct, onsite speech therapy services (remote work is not available)
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Ability to adapt therapy plans for children with diverse needs
Role Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group speech-language services to students with ASD
Complete comprehensive assessments and progress reports
Develop, implement, and monitor personalized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student success
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
Maintain accurate records and adhere to district policies
