Job description
Bring your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to an impactful role working with students in a supportive and collaborative school environment. This contract position is ideal for skilled SLPs who enjoy helping students unlock their full communication potential. The assignment is located near Reseda, CA, with a flexible, part-time schedule: three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), totaling 21 hours on-site.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current SLP license in California (or eligibility for licensure)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
Experience providing therapy in a school-based setting highly valued
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Passion for supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to students
Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to foster student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
Ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal school regulations
