Job description
Step into a collaborative educational setting near Richmond, VA, supporting elementary students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity spans from November 9th through December 18th, working full-time across five days per week.
Desired Qualifications:
Current or eligible licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Virginia
Open to SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
Prior experience working within school settings is preferred
Familiarity with elementary caseloads and age-appropriate speech/language interventions
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct therapy services to elementary students in both group and individual settings
Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor students' progress
Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success
Maintain accurate records and compliance with all applicable regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team approach
Adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
