Job description
Make a significant impact in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming school environment near Rochester, WA. This opportunity places you at the heart of student support, empowering you to utilize your clinical expertise in both assessment and therapeutic intervention.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience working with pediatric or school-aged children is highly desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Must meet state board requirements for Speech-Language Pathology practice
Core Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
Provide targeted therapy sessions focusing on achieving specific speech and language goals
Accurately monitor and document student progress throughout the intervention process
Collaborate closely with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
Actively engage and educate families to maximize therapy outcomes
