Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference for students as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with school-aged children near Sacramento, CA. This position offers the unique chance to support young learners in reaching their full communication potential through expert assessment, treatment, and family engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet specific student needs
Provide targeted therapy sessions focused on communication goals
Track, monitor, and thoroughly document progress and outcomes
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
Educate and involve families in the therapy process to maximize student success
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred
Hands-on experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is an asset
Strong communication skills and comfortable both working independently and as part of a team
Active state board approval for practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
