Job description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students in the Rockville, Maryland area as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist! This rewarding opportunity includes several on-site positions, ideal for skilled professionals passionate about fostering communication and academic growth within the school setting.
You'll work 35 hours per week in a collaborative environment, serving a diverse student population and joining a supportive network of educators and specialists.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active state licensure in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings is highly valued
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Ability to work on-site and adapt to a school-based caseload
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and social communication disorders
Collaborate with classroom teachers, fellow providers, and families to support each child's success
Maintain accurate case documentation and participate in IEP meetings as an integral team member
Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
