Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity providing essential speech-language pathology services to students on a full-time contract basis through the end of the school year. This position supports a vibrant educational environment near Springfield, OH, where you'll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and fellow specialists to help students communicate confidently and reach key developmental goals.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Ohio as an SLP
CCC-SLP or be working toward Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Previous experience in a school setting is valued, but recent graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are welcome to apply
Passion for fostering student growth, effective communication, and working as part of a diverse educational team
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, evaluate speech, language, and communication challenges, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Deliver evidence-based therapy to students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, or social communication disorders
Collaborate with classroom teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's needs
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure the best outcomes
Engage in IEP meetings, parent communications, and ongoing professional development
