Job description
Passionate about helping students thrive in their school environment? Use your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist to make an impact in an educational setting near Stafford, VA. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 caseload. Whether you're an experienced SLP-CCC or a Clinical Fellow at the start of your journey, your dedication to fostering communication skills and supporting student success is valued here.
You'll work 37.5 hours per week, integrating into a collaborative team environment. Candidate preferences regarding caseload (elementary, middle, or high school) are welcomed-voice your strengths and interests to help shape your assignment.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (Virginia or eligible for reciprocity)
SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CF) status accepted
Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Passion for supporting students across a variety of needs and backgrounds
Responsibilities include: Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans for students
Providing direct therapy to groups and individuals
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintaining timely records and progress notes in accordance with school guidelines
Supporting the educational and social development of K-12 students, adapting services as needed
