Job description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the school year. You'll serve full-time (35-37.5 hours per week) from August 2026 through June 2027, splitting your expertise between a special education preschool and an elementary school. This unique arrangement allows you to work with children at two key stages of development, making a lasting difference in both settings.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Hold a valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
Experienced with school-based services, preferably in both preschool and elementary environments
Strong knowledge of IEP development, therapy planning, and documentation requirements
Skilled in supporting children with diverse developmental, communication, and behavioral needs
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to partner with educators, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy for students at both a special education preschool and an elementary school
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized intervention strategies for students with speech, language, or communication delays
Contribute to IEP meetings and create measurable goals
Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school guidelines
Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families to promote student success
Serve as a resource for staff and caregivers on speech and language development
