Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity, providing speech-language pathology services within an elementary setting for the full academic year. This contract role is ideal for professionals seeking a part-time schedule-three days per week-supporting a small, manageable caseload. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience with school-based or pediatric caseloads preferred
Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities
Passion for supporting elementary-age learners with diverse speech and language needs
Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to elementary students' needs
Track progress, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
Foster positive relationships with students, families, and faculty
Partner with classroom teachers to support carryover of speech/language strategies in the learning environment
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as district policies
