Job description
Step into a contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs for the remainder of the school year. This position is based on a single campus, working directly with a caseload of 55 students. As a valued member of the school therapy team, you'll collaborate closely with the lead SLP and have a direct impact in helping students achieve their educational goals. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 12th.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure; CCCs or clinical fellowship accepted
Previous experience providing speech services in a school setting is strongly preferred
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and student documentation
Comfortable working with a diverse caseload and collaborating in an educational environment
What You'll Do: Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students assigned to your caseload
Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized intervention plans
Contribute to the creation and review of IEPs, maintaining compliance and documentation
Maintain positive communication with teachers, staff, and families
Participate in team meetings and support the lead SLP as needed
This position runs approximately 7.5 hours per day, five days a week, offering meaningful engagement and the ability to work on a single campus throughout the assignment.
