Job description
Start making a difference in the lives of middle and high school students by providing expert speech-language pathology services on a flexible contract basis. This assignment, based near Warren, MI, offers an immediate start date with the opportunity to impact students throughout the school year.
As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you will work three days a week, collaborating with dedicated educational teams and supporting students' communication goals in both middle and high school settings.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
Active state licensure as required for school-based roles
Experience working in educational settings, preferably with middle and high school students
Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication disorders
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services within IEP guidelines
Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
Contribute insights to a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic student support
