Job description
Step into an impactful, full-time role supporting students' communication and success during the school year. This contract position is designed for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in school settings and are eager to make a meaningful difference.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Michigan SLP license
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and/or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status
Previous experience working within school environments is highly valued
Strong commitment to supporting student growth, collaboration, and advocacy
Excellent communication, rapport-building, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct/indirect speech therapy services to assigned students
Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster academic achievement and social communication
Monitor, record, and communicate student progress regularly
Offer intervention for a diverse caseload, meeting the needs of students with varying communication challenges
Maintain current documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
