Job description
Make a positive impact on elementary students' lives by providing speech-language services in a dynamic school setting. Work part-time with a welcoming elementary caseload serving students in grades K-5. This contract opportunity is close-knit, student-focused, and perfect for a dedicated SLP seeking meaningful, flexible work with young learners.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in South Carolina is required
Experience supporting school-aged children, ideally in a primary or elementary setting
Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs
Comfortable working with small groups and one-on-one sessions
Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Conduct assessments, screenings, and progress monitoring for elementary students
Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support each child's success
Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to multidisciplinary teams
Provide guidance and support to staff and families regarding communication needs
