Pay:
$1715 / Week\ N Hours: 40.00\ N Location: Tonopah, AZ\ N
The K–12 School Counselor supports the academic, social-emotional, and career development of students across elementary, middle, or high school settings. The School Counselor works collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, families, and community partners to promote student well-being, remove barriers to learning, and ensure equitable access to educational opportunities. Counselors provide direct and indirect services aligned with a comprehensive school counseling program and adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
\ NMinimum Requirements:
\ N Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree in School Counseling or closely related Counseling field preferred
\ N Valid state-issued School Counselor certification/license based on state requirements.
\ N Experience working withK–12 students in educational, counseling, or youth-support settings
\ N Knowledge of child development, counseling techniques, and school-based intervention strategies
\ N Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain a student-centered, equity-focused approach
\ N Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
\ N Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines
\ N Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
\ N Current CPR if applicable
\ N TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
\ N Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
\ N Ability to comply with student confidentiality (FERPA) and HIPAA requirements
\ N Must be at least 18 years of age
