School Crossing Guard (Multiple Openings)
nLocation: El Monte, CA
nPay
n$18.50 per hour plus bonus time
nSchool Crossing Guards work before and after school, Monday through Friday, following the local school calendar. Typical schedules is 2 hours per day. Candidates working both assigned shifts receive additional paid bonus time, with total daily earnings of $55.50.

nEvery morning and afternoon, School Crossing Guards help create a safer route for students walking to and from school. As a School Crossing Guard, you'll become a familiar and trusted presence in your neighborhood while helping children cross the street safely.
nWhat You'll Do
nnnAssist students and pedestrians at designated crossings

nnHelp maintain safe traffic flow around schools
n
nnWatch for changing traffic conditions
n
nnCommunicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers
n
nnFollow all company safety procedures
n
n nQualifications
nnnMust be at least 18 years old
n
nnReliable and dependable
n
nnComfortable working outdoors
n
nnAble to stand during scheduled shifts
n
nnStrong communication and observation skills
n
nnApplicants living in or near El Monte may be better suited for the scheduled shift times.

n nSchedule Expectations
nThis is a very part-time position with shifts before and after school. Candidates seeking full-time or midday hours may not find this schedule to be the best fit.
