School Crossing Guard (Multiple Openings)
nLocation: Elizabethtown, PA
nPay
n$19.00 per hour
nShifts available 1/2 hour before and 1/2 hour after school. If both shifts are worked, you will work a total of 1 hour a day and earn $38.00 per day.
nPosition Overview
nLooking for part-time work that fits around the school calendar? School Crossing Guards help students travel safely to and from school while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule with weekends, school holidays, and summer breaks off.
nWhat You'll Do
nnnAssist students and pedestrians at designated crossings
n
nnHelp maintain safe traffic flow near schools
n
nnRemain alert to changing traffic conditions
n
nnCommunicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers
n
nnFollow all company safety procedures
n
n nQualifications
nnnMust be at least 18 years old
n
nnReliable and punctual
n
nnComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
n
nnAble to stand during scheduled shifts
n
nnStrong communication and observation skills
n
nnApplicants living in or near Elizabethtown may be better suited for the scheduled shift times
n
n nSchedule Expectations
nThis is a very part-time position with split shifts before and after school. Because this position follows the local school calendar, there are no scheduled shifts during weekends, school holidays, or summer break.
