School Crossing Guard in Jupiter for Palm Beach County Sherriff's Office
nGuards need to reside in Zip Code(s): 33410 and 33458
nHours: Monday–Friday, school days only (Before and After School Hours)
nPay: $21.00 per hour. School Crossing Guards work scheduled shifts before and after school dismissal times, Monday through Friday. Typical schedules are 2 hours per day.

nKey Responsibilities:
nnnSafely guide pedestrians across designated intersections or crosswalks.
n
nnMonitor traffic flow to ensure safety for all pedestrians.
n
nnRemain alert and observant to ensure student safety at all times.
n
nnCommunicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
n
n nDuties:
nnnSafely guide pedestrians across designated intersections or crosswalks
n
nnMonitor traffic flow and stop vehicles as needed to ensure safe crossings
n
nnCommunicate effectively with students, parents, and drivers to promote safety
n
nnMaintain compliance with all safety practices
n
n nQualifications:
nnnMust be at least 18 years of age.
n
nnReliable, punctual, and committed to safety.
n
nnAbility to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
n
nnStrong communication and observation skills.
n
nnThis position often requires short response times to the job site so candidates residing in the zip code(s) listed above are required.
n
nnAbility to communicate through English is required by Palm Beach Sheriff's Office.
