Job description
Crossing GuardUnder general supervision, crossing guards will lawfully stop traffic using appropriate signs and equipment, serviceable to traffic flow and safely assisting pedestrians/children across the street. All crossing guards are expected to instruct when appropriate, correct safety habits to drivers and/or children whom they come in contact with. Monitoring and assisting of school age children in crossing designated intersections within the limits of Logan City. It will be necessary for the individual to be on site 45 minutes prior to school beginning/ending and then remain a minimum of 15 to 30 minutes after school has begun/ended. Required to work set time frame; usually one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon.Benefits are not available to Temporary/Seasonal employees.
