Job description
Job Title: School Crossing Guard Location: Normal, IL Hours: Monday–Friday, school days only (Before and After School Hours) Pay: Normal School Crossing Guards earn $16.25 per hour plus bonus time. Work 45 minutes before school and 45 minutes after school. If both before and after school shifts are worked, work 1 hour 30 minutes a day and earn $32.50 per day! nnnSafely guide pedestrians across designated intersections or crosswalks.

nnMonitor traffic flow to ensure safety for all pedestrians.

nnRemain alert and observant to ensure student safety at all times.
n
nnCommunicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
n
n nQualifications:
nnnMust be at least 18 years of age.
n
nnReliable, punctual, and committed to safety.
n
nnAbility to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
n
nnStrong communication and observation skills.
n
nnThis position often requires short response times to the job site so candidates residing in Normal are preferred.
