Certified Nurse Assistant Or Medical Assistant Contract OpportunityMake a meaningful impact in a student's life by supporting them as a dedicated 1:1 aide in a school setting. This contract opportunity is perfect for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant with a compassionate approach and specialized experience. You'll work alongside educators, focusing on the health and well-being of a student who requires attentive care, including the administration and adjustment of oxygen delivery and ongoing clinical monitoring.Key Qualifications:Active Massachusetts CNA license or relevant MA certificationDocumented completion of oxygen trainingExperience with oxygen equipment and saturation monitoringSkilled in conducting cardiorespiratory physical assessments and CPRStrong communication and collaboration skills for working within a school environmentCore Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 support to a student during school hours, ensuring their ongoing medical and hydration needs are metAdminister and manage oxygen delivery systems, adjusting as needed based on clinical assessment and equipment readingsMonitor and record the students oxygen saturation and overall well-being throughout the school dayPerform regular cardiorespiratory physical assessments and be prepared to respond in case of emergenciesMaintain detailed documentation related to student care in accordance with school and state guidelinesThis contract role averages 32.5 hours each week throughout the school year, centered at one campus with a steady 1:1 caseload focused on the needs of a single student.
