Job description
Now hiring for a school-based Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support students in a vibrant educational setting for the school year. Work closely with nursing and educational professionals, ensuring students receive the daily care they need to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer direct support to students with mobility, personal care, and health-related needs during the school day
Collaborate with school nurses, teachers, and administrators to create an inclusive and safe learning environment
Monitor and report on student well-being and health status as needed
Assist in implementing care plans and following established protocols for student health
Encourage and empower students to actively participate in school routines and activities
Desired Qualifications: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
Experience working with children or in a school, pediatric, or special needs environment preferred
Excellent teamwork skills and a collaborative mindset
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
Adaptability and a positive attitude in a dynamic school context
