nThe School Nurse provides health care services and health education to all East Mountain School students and provides in-service training to staff on health related issues. Incorporates the organization's Mission, Values, and Service Standard Behavior guidelines in the fulfillment of all duties and responsibilities.
nEducation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
nnnBachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field
n
nnMinimum of three (3) years working experience
n
nnNJDOE Criminal History Review
n
nnMaintains positive and appropriate relationships with students
n
nnMaintains constructive relationships with East Mountain School staff and other departments
n
nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills
n
nnProficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms
n
n nEducation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
nnnMaster's degree
n
nnWork experience in a Psychiatric setting with adolescents
n
nnWork experience in a school setting
n
n nLicenses and Certifications Required:
nnnNJDOE School Nurse Certification or Certificate of Eligibility, Emergency Certification for School Nurse or Substitute School Nurse
n
nnAHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification or completed in the first 90 days of employment
n
n nLicenses and Certifications Preferred:
nnNJDOE School Nurse Certification or Certificate of Eligibility
n n nMinimum rate of $69,214.32 Annually

The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package. This job position is a 10-month benefit eligible position.

nnBudget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

n nIn addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) job positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
