Job description

Qualifications:
Hold a current K-12 School Nurse license (LPN or RN).
Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Meet all requirements to maintain a "not disqualified" status following completion of a criminal background check and Minnesota disciplinary records review.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver temporary and emergency care, including first aid, to students who are ill or injured within a K-8 building.
Conduct health assessments and monitor students' development, which includes administering annual vision and hearing screenings.
Dispense, monitor, and document medications for students with acute or chronic health conditions, in collaboration with physicians and families.
Communicate with parents and medical providers to manage medication adjustments as needed.
Prepare and maintain first aid kits for both school buildings to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
