Job description
Discover a rewarding opportunity providing dedicated nursing support to a student in a local school setting near Santa Fe, New Mexico (87506). This part-time contract position is ideal for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) passionate about making a positive impact in a school environment. The assignment spans the school year, with specific dates to be determined by the district.
Scheduled Monday through Thursday for 3-4 hours daily, you'll deliver one-on-one onsite care as part of a committed educational team. This student-centered role offers predictability, meaningful connection, and professional satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid New Mexico RN or LPN license (required)
Experience in pediatric or school nursing (preferred)
Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration abilities
Attention to detail with documentation and compliance
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care to an assigned student during the school day
Monitor and respond to the student's health needs in accordance with an individualized care plan
Communicate openly with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care
Maintain precise and compliant documentation in line with district and state guidelines
Foster a safe, supportive atmosphere in the learning environment
