School Nurse (RN)

As a School Nurse (RN/LPN), you will:
Provide direct care to students for acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school policies
Monitor and manage student health records to ensure compliance with state regulations
Develop and implement care plans for students with medical needs
Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, including disease prevention, hygiene, and wellness
Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary
Collaborate with school staff and community health resources to support students' well-being
A few must-haves for School Nurses:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN or LPN license in Michigan
Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric, school health, or community health nursing
Current CPR certification
Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to work independently
Compassionate communicator who values collaboration with students, staff, and families
