Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a School Nurse . Join our team today and help us continue our mission to positively impact the lives of children and communities across the nation!

n nSCHOOL NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES
nnProvide basic care for students when they are injured ill, and manage chronic conditions.
nOversee the school's medication administration program.
nEducate students and staff on healthy habits, such as hygiene and proper nutrition.
nWork with school staff to ensure the physical and emotional safety of the school community.
n nSCHOOL NURSE QUALIFICATIONS
nnBachelor's Degree in Nursing.
nHas obtained or is eligible for an endorsement as a School Nurse as prescribed in the bylaws of the State Department of Education.
nExperience or specialized training in the field of pediatric mental health is preferred.
nAbility to work independently and maintain ethical and accountability standards.
nDemonstrates interpersonal skills, and communicates effectively and courteously both verbally and in writing.
nHas the ability to coordinate activities and work effectively with professional staff, support staff, parents, and representatives from agencies outside the school system.
