Position Overview:
Knoch School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Substitute School Nurse for a K-12 setting . The Substitute School Nurse plays a critical role in maintaining the health and wellness of our students and staff by providing compassionate and skilled nursing care when the regular school nurse is unavailable.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
CPR/First Aid Certification
Current Act 34, 114 & 151 Clearances upon hiring
Preferred:
Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
Experience working with school-aged children in a healthcare or school setting
Responsibilities Include: Providing first aid and nursing care to students and staff
Administering medications and managing health plans
Maintaining accurate health records and documentation
Responding to emergencies and coordinating care with medical personnel as needed
Communicating with families regarding student health concerns as needed
Supporting a healthy and safe school environment
Compensation:
$18.00 per hour
