Job description
School Nurse
The following posting is available for the school year at Smith School. Start date: Available immediately.
Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Educational Services School Nurse Endorsement
Minimum experience as determined by the board
Demonstrated expertise in school health nursing practice and emergency procedures
Knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues, and wellness education
Knowledge of community health and social services resources and ability to communicate effectively with non-school health professionals and social service agencies
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

Salary: $64,000 - $72,350. The salary range reflects the anticipated base compensation for this position. Final salary placement will be determined based on the selected candidate's relevant education, years of experience, and alignment with the District's negotiated salary guide and/or placement practices.
