nAMN Healthcare is partnering with a Cheyenne, WA school district to hire a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with one of the top districts in the area, providing services to children of all ages. Generally, the OT will address motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions that impact a student's academics, self-care skills, play, and social participation, as well as transitional skills.nnResponsibilities for this role include: nnPartner with the district as a member of a collaborative team to help students achieve their academic goals.nScreen and evaluate students referred to Occupational Therapy. nAppropriately collect data and report findings.nProvide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services as required.nMaintain accurate documentation and billing per district and state standards. nThe OT will provide training and resources for teachers and staff on effective strategies to improve participation and progress toward educational goals.nParticipate in a collaborative team and maintain clear communication with teachers, district staff, and families regarding student performance. nnBenefits BoxnnSchool assignments are typically nine months in length but can vary depending on the length of the contract and school calendar. Required Qualifications
Occupational Therapist, School
Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in WY

Preferred Qualifications
Initial certification through NBCOT
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
