School Occupational Therapist | Bear, Delaware
Step into an impactful contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services for students across a dynamic educational district in the greater Wilmington, DE area. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and engage directly with students, helping to ensure they receive essential support tailored to their individual needs. Full-time onsite positions are available with a Monday-Friday schedule.
Key Qualifications:
Active and valid OT license required; please provide proof of licensure with your application
Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
Adaptability and initiative to support diverse caseloads across different schools
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to their IEPs
Assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate student success and participation in school routines
Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all student interventions and progress notes
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to educational teams
Provide consultative support and resources to school staff as needed
