Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Active OT license in Mississippi, or eligibility for state licensure
Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience with IEPs and familiarity with special education processes a plus
Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate students' functional abilities within the educational setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and staff
Contribute to IEP meetings by providing expert input and progress updates
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, with a focus on fostering independence and academic participation
Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
Educate teachers, parents, and caregivers on strategies to support student success
