Job description
Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist interested in working in educational settings? Key Qualifications:
Active OT license in Mississippi or willingness to obtain
Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric therapy settings
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities: Assess students' functional abilities and create individualized occupational therapy plans
Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in IEPs
Develop creative, evidence-based interventions tailored to students' unique needs
Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
Consult with teachers and staff to integrate strategies within the classroom
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families to ensure student success
